涉法涉诉信访事项原因分析兼谈信访制度问题及工作建议作为人民群众重要救济途径的信访机制，在学术界一直颇受争议，有学者（特别是法学界学者）认为，在当前社会高速发展的大背景下，面对越来越复杂的群众矛盾、群众与政府矛盾，信访途径的救济方式显得过于原始和落后，特别是对于本文着意探究的涉法涉诉的信访事项的处理，缺乏明确的法律法规支持，甚至在某些极端情况下还可能出现政府打压信访群众的情况，会进一步引起“滚雪球”似的效应，将小事变成大事、将一件事变为多件事，对依法治国的推进不利，从而建议废止信访制度；另有学者（主要是偏重于政策国情研究的学者）认为，我国的法制化建设还不健全，人民群众的普法教育还达不到能够正确运...
